Strength and Conditioning
Athlete S&C
Improve your strength to prevent injury and condition your body to run faster, longer and with more ease.
What is Strength & Conditioning?
Athletic strength and conditioning is a specialised form of training designed to improve an athlete’s performance in their specific sport. It focuses on building strength, speed, agility, power, and endurance through tailored exercises and techniques. The aim is to enhance athletic performance, reduce the risk of injury, and prepare the body to meet the physical demands of competition.
Start with an Initial assessment where you will undergo a detailed injury and strength screening. Afterwards you can go on and join one of our strength and conditioning classes or book in for a 1-on-1 appointment.

How S&C can help you!
Strength and Conditioning is all about improving the physical qualities required for your sport to get the most out of your performance. You’ll get stronger, faster and reduce the likelihood of injuries.
Strength is a foundation for high performance as an Athlete. With tailored programs designed towards your chosen sport and position, we’ll help your body get strong to take on opponents or increase your resilience to injury.
Conditioning is your aerobic fitness. You may be able to run 10Km’s but is your body conditioned to run consistently well throughout the game? Booking Conditioning sessions will provide you with monthly assessments to track your progress and running sessions to improve your aerobic fitness and capacity.
Improve your Power output and unlock your true speed and strength. Power is how quickly you can generate force and the quicker you can create forces, the more reactive your muscles will be! This may prevent injuries and allow you to get an edge over your opponent.

Meet Tom
My passion for anatomy and personal experience with injuries led me to complete a Masters of Physiotherapy at The University of Queensland.
I struggled with injuries as a teenager... It continuously stopped me from playing the sports I loved, like tennis and field hockey, but also running around with my mates. So at 16 years of age, I decided I would become a Physiotherapist and help other athletes avoid my mistakes.
Since graduating, I've worked with State field hockey teams, VFL, and AFLW athletes, and I've been a swimming coach for 10 years. My mission is to help amateur athletes and people from all walks of life recover from injury, manage pain, and stay active. I believe in open, honest care that empowers you to take control of your health.
