Book in for a Recovery session at The Grassroots Physio and you can receive a massage for sore and tired muscles, tips and tricks for cooling-down after a game and advice on stretches to maintain your mobility.

Have an important game or multiple events coming up? Sports massage can help to prepare your body before your event or recover from sore muscles afterwards and ensure you are ready to go the next day!

Meet Tom

My passion for anatomy and personal experience with injuries led me to complete a Masters of Physiotherapy at The University of Queensland.

I struggled with injuries as a teenager... It continuously stopped me from playing the sports I loved, like tennis and field hockey, but also running around with my mates. So at 16 years of age, I decided I would become a Physiotherapist and help other athletes avoid my mistakes.

Since graduating, I've worked with State field hockey teams, VFL, and AFLW athletes, and I've been a swimming coach for 10 years. My mission is to help amateur athletes and people from all walks of life recover from injury, manage pain, and stay active. I believe in open, honest care that empowers you to take control of your health.

The Grassroots Physio is located inside the Dolphins Fitness and Aquatic Centre, on the Corner of Klingner Road and Ashmole Road, Redcliffe QLD.

The best clothing to bring is something loose and easy to remove or pull to a side. You will always be given privacy and won’t need to remove all clothing as we have Towels to drape over.

Yes, we accept Private Health Insurance as this is a service provided by Registered Physiotherapists.

We run a strict 24hour Cancellation Policy and require rescheduling or cancellation notice at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. This allows your appointment slot to be given to someone else. If you cancel within 24 hours, you may be charged a 50% cancellation fee.

You can book in for a 30 Minute or 45 Minute appointment where you will have a short assessment and then focus on a variety of Recovery treatments that suit your needs.
